Today we sent out an email introducing the new start/finish location for the Tour de Park City. Due to circumstances out of our control we had to move the venue from the Canyons to Coalville Utah.
This change shortens the Tour de Park City Race and Super Century Tour by about 25 miles. The new distance is about 145 miles. More importantly it eliminates a lot of the complications due in getting to and from Park City. The result is the event will be much safer and more friendly to racing and and will make the event more accessible to more cyclists.
The other great part is from Kamas to Coalville it's downhill with a tail wind making the last 20 miles fairly easy after a pretty difficult 125 miles.

- The Tour de Park City is a premier cycling event offering riding options for cyclists of all abilities. The race coined as America's hardest single day road race features a 150 mile loop course taking riders through two states and to maximum elevation of 10,700 feet. Riders can also ride the race course as a casual tour we call the Super Century. The Tour de Park City Tour offer three riding distances. The Century at 112 miles, the Metric Century at 63 miles, and the Half Century at 50 miles. The Tour de Park City offers riders a fully supported summertime cycling event.
