Today we sent out an email introducing the new start/finish location for the Tour de Park City. Due to circumstances out of our control we had to move the venue from the Canyons to Coalville Utah.

This change shortens the Tour de Park City Race and Super Century Tour by about 25 miles. The new distance is about 145 miles. More importantly it eliminates a lot of the complications due in getting to and from Park City. The result is the event will be much safer and more friendly to racing and and will make the event more accessible to more cyclists.

The other great part is from Kamas to Coalville it's downhill with a tail wind making the last 20 miles fairly easy after a pretty difficult 125 miles.

The new maps and information about registration can be found on www.tourdeparkcity.com

Energy Gel Recipe

I found and am using a new energy gel recipe you can make yourself. It tastes great and works better than any gel you can buy. You can find the recipe on

http://www.originnutrition.com/2009/07/energy-gel-athletes/

You can add additional ingredients to adjust the taste to your preference.
